Truth and fiction

October 29, 2014

What does it mean to be a professional? Is it to use honeyed words to say nothing, and as a consequence, to get nothing done? What is the greater misstep, to address a problem (challenges are everyday business, problems hinge upon behavioral change), or ignore the problem until circumstances make the problem the least of your worries? Just asking.

If we tolerate inefficiencies and non-performance at the public expense, how big a crowd of fools are we? Do we in fact just want someone to blame, which is the role too-ably filled by politicians these days? Or, is this one of those questions not meant to be answered?

Giving up on changing the past, but the future is ours. Dig in, mliswilltravel.

“The truth has become an insult.”
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Half of a Yellow Sun
