Ah, Summer

April 30, 2016

My tomatoes and peppers are stretching toward the sun, the nights have become humid (ugh), and it is summertkime down South. Happens every year, and it is time for half of my limited brain capacity to shut down. One hopes, the brain will awaken in October, with the first night in the 50 degree range. I am penciled in to work as a volunteer with library programming for young folks during June and July—looking forward to it. About 60 Shumard Oak seedlings are under my care, raised from acorns from the local public library. I hope they grow up in a safe and increasingly sane world, under the care of faithful library users. We shall see.

Dedicated to faithful library users everywhere, mliswilltravel.
